    • Members Serve 2-year terms, must reside in or serve communities of Portsmouth, Middletown, Newport and Jamestown
    • Six Subcommittees (Membership, Public Information, Project, Planning, Rules and Education)

      INSTALLATION RESTORATION (IR) PROGRAM

      • IRP is designed to identify and evaluate contaminated Navy facilities.
      • The IRP provides for compliance with procedural and substantive requirements of Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) as amended by (SARA).
      • IRP includes proactive public programs and community relations.

      • The RAB meets at the Newport Naval Officers' Club at 6:00 PM on the 3rd Wednesday of selected months. Check our Calendar for dates and for occassional changes to time or place.
      • Call Lisa Rama, Public Affairs Officer at (401) 841-7561 before 3:00 PM the day of the meeting to gain base access to attend a RAB Meeting.
